• Covid Policies: Mask are recommended but not mandated 

• Respect for others: Everyone will be treated with respect and welcomed at our event. No one will be made to feel uncomfortable or will be harrassed in any way shape or form.

• Who Can Enter the Competition: Everyone at all levels are welcomed in our competition (please note certain level categories will require a demo dance or a RECENT video proof of skill level)

• Will I have warm up time before the competition starts? Absolutely! We will have at minimum a 30 minute dance warm up session before the competition

• What if my partner is no longer available at the last minute, can I still compete in the competition? Yes! we will have available leads and follows for last minute partnering

• What will the judges look for when judging the competition: Our workshop on the day of the competition will address all questions concerning judging and how to be a success at winning

• What is the dress code for the competition? Your full body must be covered within reason, no mid-drift shirts will be allowed

• Can we pick our own music pace? You will perform 2 songs, one fast or medium tempo and one slow tempo song, we will also have competitions that you will be allowed to choose your tempo as well.

• Will the competition be held on the same/equivalent date each year? Each year we will take a poll and allow votes on the date as we understand summer can be a busy time for everyone.

• What is the amount of the prize money? The prize money can range from $250.00 to $5,000.00

• What is the cost to enter the competition? $20.00 per person

• Do your require an rsvp to this event for anyone participating in the competition? IT IS MANDATORY (Please note we are not required to accommodate anyone who arrives late to the event) It is highly recommended that audience members rsvp as well.

• Am I allowed to film at the competition? You are allowed to have someone film your performance however if others do not want you filming their performance that is their right. We will have our own producers filming the entire event. All parties that enter the competition to perform must sign an agreement to allow Westie Dance Night Out to  film their performance and post to social media.

• Can I submit a video or demo in person a wcs dance performance and you evaluate and advise what level I qualify to enter the competition?: Yes 

• What is the Competition Schedule? 6 pm to 7 pm WCS Competition Workshop 7 pm to 7:30 pm Guided Practice 7:30 to 8 pm Dance Practice 8 pm to 9 pm WCS Competition and Trophy Ceremony.

• Will food be served at the event and included in the $20.00 entry fee price? Yes
